10 teachers came from the region of Piedmonte in Italy for a week of Putting CLIL into Practice at Anglia School and worked hard on CLIL daily with me, experienced Anglia School classes and wrote resources, the result of which you can now read here.

We have a preschool lesson from Daniela and Giada with a focus on benefits of eating seasonal and healthy food (autumn fruits) where the children read a wonderful story about a very helpful hedgehog named Mogg.
There is a sequence from Manuela and Gessica entitled It’s good for me and the planet! which has chil dren exploring healthy and unhealthy foods and practicing adverbial phrases of frequency and quantity.
Michela and Daniela produced a lovely sequence called - My green choices, how big is my foot print? aimed at Grade 5 students, where they examine their daily routines and habits and their effect on climate change and ending with a presentation of their plan of action.
Another grade 5 sequence from Rosaria and Serena makes use of the gardening facilities in their schools and is called – My school garden. Here, children map a model garden and learn the names of plants which they grow from seed and bring with them to school, to eventually plant in their own class de signed garden area in the school.
The invisible Life from Valeria and Roberta aimed at grades 1 and 2 has children learning about insects, particularly bees and why they are so valuable for our planet. They composed their own song using AI to practice insects and their actions!
Enjoy and share!
