Dear colleague and friend Lida Schoen was recently
presented with
the award for 'Distinguished Contribution to Chemistry Education'.
It was presented during the opening of the
21st ICCE
conference
in Taipei
by
Nobel Prize laureate Yuan-Tseh Lee as the honourable conference
chairperson with prof Morton Hoffman (who formed part of the
jury). Bravo to Lida, keep up the good work and may the good work of the YACs continue!

YAC got quite a lot of attention during the conference. There was a small YAC event with 35 students. It was near Taipei 101, in front of the City Hall. YAC got more invitations from China and the Philippines. |
